Active Isolated Stretching
Active stretching eliminates force and its adverse effects from stretching procedures. Conversely, in passive stretching an external force is exerted upon the limb to move it into the new position. Active will ease muscles into stretching; passive will enable even deeper stretches after the muscle is relaxed.
NOTE: Client needs to WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES and come prepared to work. This is not a passive stretching session. A 90 minute session is recommended (and needed) and may only include stretching.
Session time will depend on what we are trying to accomplish.
